Gusseted Bags
A gusseted bag is simply a pleat made into a bag; they have sides and balloons out to hold the product in a box shape. When you place something into a gusseted bag, you are squaring the bottom and eliminating what are commonly referred to as dog ears -the corners of the plastic bag that would otherwise stick out.
