UL Labels
ABC's of UL Labeling

What are UL labels? They are printed nameplates, tags and labels with warnings, cautions, instructions, and/or product classifications. UL labels are found on electrical appliances, electronic devices, safety equipment, things that hold or convey flammable liquids, and on certain components inside devices. UL labels acknowledge that the labeled product is "recognized" as complying with an industry performance standard and deem it safe to use.
What once took months or longer to get a new UL file adopted, can be done in weeks today, thanks to recent changes and a "streamlined" process from UL. We are a certified Printing Materials supplier and can assist with your UL labeling requirements. We offer products that are tested and approved against UL's UL969 standard. We can also work with you on new UL listings. New listings or applications require just 3 easy steps to get started:
- Step 1: Determine the end-user's requirements.
- Step 2: Select label material (based on above).
- Step 3: Apply for UL recognition.
