The built up Flat Pads and blocks from IPS Packaging are constructed from layers of 3/16" thick A-flute single face corrugated paper laminated into shapes of various lengths, widths, and thickness to provide cushioning and clearances designed to meet or exceed National Motor Freight Specifications.
Corrugated Flat Pads and blocks are used in a wide variety of applications when blocking, spacing, void filling or special built up pad fabrications are top priorities. Flat Pads often replace foam blocks, when greater strength, multiple load shocks, or environmental factors are involved in the application. Multi-layer flat pads are utilized for a multitude of applications. Some typical uses include case goods and furniture, RTA furniture, kitchen cabinets, filing cabinets, work stations, tables, industrial shelving, and electronics.
Available liners, lengths, widths and thickness
The need for foam or polyethylene wrapping and the labor to apply them to your product can often both be eliminated when Multi-layer Flat Pads are utilized with our non-abrasive liners. Multi-layer Flat Pads are available with standard corrugated liners or with optional non-abrasive linings such as Michelman® coating, MULTI-SOFT tissue, or micro foam. Multi-layer Flat Pads are available in widths up to 44", lengths up to 120", and thickness up to 12".
