A company that manufactures poly and plastic products was unsatisfied with the service they were receiving from their cornerboard providers. They were using .160 board, which is over-kill and unnecessary for their product. Realizing that they could possibly save money and resources, the company looked into providing a solution to their problem.

They called IPS Packaging. An IPS Packaging specialist recommended testing Formaboard because of its higher strength at lower thickness. The poly and plastic company placed an order for one skid of (.120) and one skid of (.100). This order saved them material costs. Once the poly and plastic company receives both products, they will choose which thickness is best for their application and IPS Packaging will stock 60 days worth of Formaboard to deliver to them.
