Notes
The sequence of operation is:
1. The K.D. case is automatically erected from case magazine and position bottom loading.
2. Simultaneously the product is being accumulated into its desired load pattern. Interlocks check for a proper pack pattern and case presence. When both stations signal “ready” the load is automatically raised into the case.
3. When the load arm retracts, the case with product is powered out of the load area. This permits the start of the next cycle.
4. The side drives power the case past minor flap folders, major flap plows and seals with hot melt glue or pressure sensitive tape.
5. Completed package is discharged onto a take-away conveyor (provided by others) for removal from packaging system.
