The wraps or pouches this product produces are easily formed by pressing the cohesive surfaces together. No heat or supplementary closure, such as tape, glue, or staples are required. The cohesive paper surfaces adhere to themselves only and not the product being packaged. These wraps and pouches are waterproof, greaseproof, tamper evident and cushioned. Cro-nel constructions support a wide range of strength and cushioning characteristics with paper weights ranging from 30# or 60# to heavy 42# or 69# kraft linerboard substrates.
Cro-nel packaging is available in sheets and rolls, with availability in various specialty grades depending on end-use application requirements. Unusual shapes and sizes are no problem.
Cohesive paper an ideal packaging solution across industries
The cohesive paper is a solution fitted for numerous industries across the automotive, electronic, furniture, medical, printing and publishing sectors. Specialized protective packaging can be enhanced with foil and other substrates as well as special coatings. Cro-nel comes in natural or white and can be printed in one or two colors.
Cro-nel Plus is an enhanced version of Cro-nel, to be used in applications that demand a stronger flexible cohesive paper packaging material. It features strong polyolefin films, available in both regular and super grades, and are laminated to foam with a cold seal coating. Cro-nel Plus is machine compatible and has a high coefficient of friction so sealed items are locked firmly into place. Available in roll form only, the product can be cross-perforated to make sheets for easy application.
