At IPS Packaging & Automation, we’re committed to creating a positive influence in our community, both throughout our hometown and in the greater world around us. There are a variety of causes that are near and dear to our hearts, and we want to share their efforts with everyone we work with. Below are just a few of the organizations we’ve supported through either monetary donations or service hours:

Upstate Warrior Solution

Upstate Warrior Solution offers support to active-duty servicemen and women, military veterans, their families, and more in the Upstate of South Carolina. Their mission is “to connect warriors and their family members to resources and opportunities, lead them through the process of self-empowerment, and inspire the community to embrace local warriors and their family members as valued neighbors and friends.” IPS is proud to be a veteran-owned business and to support to organizations that lend a helping hand to our nation’s men and women in uniform.

HIRE Vets GOLD Medallion Award

IPS Packaging & Automation is incredibly proud to say that 14% of our workforce are veterans. For that reason, we were recognized in 2020 as a recipient of the Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans (HIRE Vets) Gold Medallion award. This is the only federal-level award that recognizes companies that are committed to hiring and retaining American veterans, as well as helping them develop as professionals.

Bon Secours St. Francis Mobile Mammogram Coach

The Bon Secours St. Francis Mobile Mammogram Coach brings mammography screenings to at-risk populations across South Carolina’s Upstate region. These buses are outfitted with 3D technology that allow individuals to receive a mammogram in less than 45 minutes. The St. Francis Foundation states that their mammogram coach “meets a clear need for at-risk populations. Our vision is to bring critically important breast health screenings to the uninsured, underinsured, churches, community centers and workplace health fairs,” and that “through this mobile ministry, [they] can reach women who cannot come to [them], women who need the compassion of a healing ministry.”

Project Host

The Project Host organization offers a wide range of services and programs that address food insecurity in the Greenville, South Carolina community. Their Soup Kitchen is a no-questions-asked, free, and easily accessible resource for anyone in the area struggling through tough times, while the organization’s Cooking for Kids service partners with after school programs in the area to provide local children from food insecure homes with hot, nutrient dense meals.

The Blood Connection

With locations across both of the Carolinas, The Blood Connection’s mission is “to support our healthcare partners with adequate, safe, cost-effective blood supplies and services.” IPS Packaging & Automation has been proud to host the organization’s mobile blood donation buses at our corporate headquarters in Fountain Inn, SC on numerous occasions, allowing our team members to give back to the community without even needing to leave our parking lot.

Miracle Hill Ministries

Miracle Hill Ministries is a nonprofit organization in the Upstate of South Carolina dedicated to providing extensive services to adults in the form of food, shelter, clothing, counseling, personal development, and addiction recovery. We also serve children who have been removed from their families through our foster home community and residential foster care program. Miracle Hill exists that homeless children and adults receive food and shelter with compassion, hear the Good News of Jesus Christ, and move toward healthy relationships and stability.

IPS Packaging & Automation is committed to being a positive force not just in our offices, but also in our hometown and beyond. Our team is incredibly proud to work with organizations around the nation who give back to our community every single day.
