A gusseted poly bag is simply a pleat made into a bag; they have sides and balloons out to hold the product in a box shape. When you place something into a gusseted bag, you are squaring the bottom and eliminating what are commonly referred to as dog ears, which are the corners of the plastic bag that would otherwise stick out. Raw Materials are approved for use in direct food contact packaging under paragraph 177.1520 of Title 21CFR of the Code of Federal Regulations, with no restrictions. This product complies with California Proposition 65 and all applicable CONEG heavy metal restrictions.
