Scholarships generously donated from Jerry Murdock
Our President, Jerry Murdock has generously donated to scholarship funds at his alma mater, High Point University. Jerry is an alumnus of High Point, graduating from High Point College in 1962. He and his wife Joan are pledging the money to the Jerry W. and Joan S. Murdock Endowed Scholarship, which supports students in need of financial assistance.
“I came to High Point College with a full scholarship and didn’t have to pay for anything. I was very appreciative of that and knew one day I wanted to repay that scholarship for people like me,” says Murdock. “Fortunately, I was able to start my own company, and I’m grateful for my 42 years in business. The professors at High Point were wonderful to me. What they taught me has been very valuable to my life.”
