Unit was delivered by UPS with very slight damage to the box. The packaging (foam bags) was not distressed or damaged. However, the unit inside is obviously for testing as it contained major scratches and dents.
Custom foam in place end caps protect the receiver from damage during the trip to the consumer's home.The current packaging method (inflatable air chambers) could not be reviewed.
A prototype mold was constructed that will yield an end cap that can be used on the right or left side of the unit.

Foam in place system we created molded end caps. The film is 19” flat centerfold.

A molded foam end cap would be placed over each end of the receiver unit and then placed in the box. The original box was used for the sample return.
