Problem: A national mail order fruit packager needed flexibility. They wanted to seal fully telescoping boxes with a machine that could be used in the field and moved to the warehouse at night.
Solution: This case sealer suggested to meet their needs was designed for heavy items and high speed tape application. It processes 36 cartons per minute and has a forklift compatible metal skid built right in. This machine also has linear flap tuckers, no tape/ no cut tape sensors, and is equipped with micro-controls. The top and bottom tape cartridges are adjustable to meet different box sizes and tape locations on the box. The box is driven through the machine by a powered in-feed belt, independently adjustable power top drives and adjustable side belts. The machine is then able to compress boxes that are overstuffed with packing material to create a true full-telescope design-style box.
