Multimetal Corrosion Inhibitors – chemicals that inhibits corrosion on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Non-Ferrous Metals – Indicates metals other than iron and alloys that do not contain an appreciable amount of iron (aluminum, copper, brass, etc.)

VCI – Volatile or Vapor Corrosion Inhibitors, also generically referred to as chemical passivation technology, refers to patented chemical formulations that diffuse out of packaging materials and are deposited onto metal surface and protects them from corrosion.  This layer is invisible, dry, and does not affect the physical properties of functionality of the metal in any way.
